When using SAML SSO integrations, the maximum-session length for users can be set to specify the maximum amount of time a session remains active before requiring a new login.
Session-expiration values are set using a custom attribute in your IDP configuration. The custom attribute you set in your IDP is referenced in the NetCloud Manager SSO integration.
Important
Session-expiration values must be formatted as ISO 8601 date and time format values.
The following image shows an example of a customer session-expiration attribute from an Okta IDP app. The session length in this example is set to 30 minutes.
Use the Session Expiration field on the Claim Mappings page of the Add/Edit Identity Provider wizard to specify the IDP attribute name of the attribute used for session expiration.
