Once you have a TOTP application enabled on your cell phone or other device and MFA is required for your account, use the following steps to set up MFA for your login:

  1. Log into NetCloud Manager.

  2. Connect your TOTP application to your NetCloud Manager account using the MFA setup dialog.

    • Use Option 1 if your TOTP application supports QR-code scanning. Scan the QR code in the MFA setup dialog. After scanning the QR code, your MFA tokens are available in the TOTP application.

    • Use Option 2 if your TOTP application does not support QR-code scanning. Copy the manual configuration key listed in Option 2 and paste the configuration key into your TOTP application. After adding the configuration key to your TOTP application, your MFA tokens are available in the TOTP application.

  3. Add the MFA token from your TOTP application to the Authentication Code field, and then click Finish.

  4. Click OK in the Success dialog.

  5. Enter your credentials again on the Login screen, and then click Sign In.

  6. Enter your MFA token in the MFA Token field on the Multi-Factor Authentication screen, and then click Sign In.

    Note

    Steps 5 and 6 are required whenever you log into NetCloud Manager with MFA enabled.
