Remove or Reset a MFA Token
Users may clear their own MFA token if they are logged in to NetCloud Manager. This is helpful if you change your TOTP application and need to generate an MFA token for a different application or device.
The Clear MFA Token button has a slightly different effect depending on whether Force MFA was enabled by an administrator for all members of an account or MFA was enabled by an individual user for only their account login.
For a user who is a member of an account with Force MFA enabled for all members, the Clear MFA Token button disassociates that user's TOTP-enabled device with the account. However, since the account still has Force MFA enabled for all users, the next time the user attempts to log in to the account, they will be required to set up MFA again.
For a user who has individually enabled MFA for their account, clicking the Clear MFA Token button disables MFA for that user. The user may enable and configure MFA again through their Profile dialog using the Set Up MFA Device button or by using the Edit User dialog on the Account page.
