Signal strength and quality reported units of measurement will vary per modem. The LP4 signal quality is reported by the Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) and the Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), not the Signal to Interference & Noise Ratio (SINR). LTE modems report the SINR, RSRQ, and RSRP. The signal strength is reported by the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). Energy per chip to interference power ratio (EC/IO) is a measure of the quality/cleanliness of the signal from the tower to the modem and indicates the signal-to-noise ratio.
